Hey Jason, thanks for the follow-up. JW (Jason Woodley) did an excellent job with everything! He was early and had everything setup on time. The music he played all night long was perfect, the dance floor was packed! And his announcements throughout the night were great. We were really pleased with him.

Thank you for your help as well throughout the process. If we run across anybody who needs a DJ, we will definitely refer them to you.

Jason did a great job as our DJ. Many guests came up to tell us it was the best wedding music they had ever heard! The lighting made the room, the photo booth was fun for all and Jason kept the pace of the evening moving by coordinating with the caterer and us. I'd highly recommend QMEP to any bride to be!

Everything was GREAT !! So funny the DJ (Daryl) started off with a few break up songs and I let him in on the story of the party ... based off a canceled wedding. Daryl was great the entire night.

This is hands down the best DJ and event planning service in the Bay Area! I have had more than one experience with Quantum and they've all been nothing short of amazing.

I have worked mostly with events DJ'd by Jason and there was never a dull moment. Jason really knows how to get the party started and get people moving and he does this without being a crazy obnoxious DJ. The transitions from song to song are flawless. Last summer I went to a wedding that Kit from Quantum was the DJ and she was great with the wedding. She was doing far more than you would expect from the DJ to do. She also had music going during the ceremony and at one point was helping get the wedding started.

They always provide quality service during the event, and before during the planning process also. Jason's work ethic was really phenomenal. Jason goes above and beyond to ensure that all people in attendance would have a wonderful time!! 5 stars for this wonderful company hands down.

Really, no words can describe how much we love Kit and Jason at Quantum Music. My fiance first met with Kit when we were looking at DJs for our April 30th wedding at the Gardens at Heather Farm. We loved how down to earth and normal they were compared to the other HUGE DJ showcase we had just gone to, and got a great vibe. We booked them as our DJ, and ended up booking Kit as our day of coordinator, as well as having Jason and Kit add lighting for our reception as well. Every single part of it was perfect, and our wedding truly wouldnt have been the same without them. Jason ended up being our DJ, and provided music for both the ceremony and reception. It was all flawless, and we got so many compliments on the music choices. They listened to what we said, and his choices were perfect. Jason is SO friendly, and after the first meeting we felt like talking to him was talking to an old friend. Kit was out of control amazing as our day of coordinator. She provided some much needed support and assistance with all the small details of the day. We cant imagine what we would have done with out her. She truly went above and beyond on her duties, and put in so much time and energy. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Her prices are so reasonable, and she helped greatly diminish the stress of the day. We had so many small details of the wedding, and she did them flawlessly. Jason also helped us with lighting design for our reception venue. It was a fairly normal room, and we really wanted it to feel rustic, almost barn like. Jason and Kit knew we were working on a fairly tight budget, and they did so much for us. It looked better than we could have imagined. Jason worked closely with our reception site, and strung up gorgeous market lights and up lights to really give a great vibe to the reception. Everything about Quantum is great- you will not regret it if you go with them!

We hired QMEP to provide dj services and lighting for our wedding, and I don't think we could have found anyone better. The lighting was great and added the perfect accent to our party. Jason is not just a DJ extraordinaire, but a mind reader and total crowd pleaser as well. He was consistently enthusiastic about working with us, and even though we really only met with him a handful of times, we felt like he was a part of the family! Jason is professional, courteous, fun, and easy-going and I would recommend him to anyone. My husband is from West Africa and wanted to hear some of his favorite African tunes at the reception. Jason helped him to transfer his music and then he listened to all of it and skillfully wove the African songs into the rest of his playlist. On top of that, he managed to play all of my favorite songs, emcee the event, set up equipment for our friends who played music, and set up the equipment for my husband to play his traditional African xylophone.

I found QMEP through yelp when trying to find a DJ for our wedding. When meeting with Kit it was clear that this was the company for us! They are so nice and made the whole process of choosing songs and lighting so easy. We used Jason as our DJ and he had the dance floor going the whole night! Kit did a wonderful job at DJ'ing. She followed up to make sure we were on schedule for the night's events and also accomodated for any delays. Kit and Jason are very easy to work with and would recommend them to anyone!

So you get engaged... Then comes the wave of questions regarding the timeline, cost, color schemes and details to pull together your special day. All you need to know during this time is to pick up the phone and call Quantum Music! Once you have a meeting face to face with Kit, your nerves will be calmed as she will spell out all that needs to be done to get you and your partner discussing what needs to be handled and how to handle it most efficiently. They were able to handle any size of request as they are very resourceful and helped us come up with ideas we didn't even think of. From the moment we met with Kit and Jason, they helped us finalize important decisions, organize and most importantly were able to keep us calm. They gave us great ideas for personalized touches and details, set up all of our lighting and decor and helped plan and coordinate the ceremony. They also provided us with the best DJ in the area. Kit was our coordinator and Jason was our DJ and we loved them! Our wedding went off without a hitch and our guests LOVED the music. Jason really knows how to pick the perfect songs for each moment and could really engage the crowd. I highly recommend using Quantum music for your wedding in Northern California as these two were incredibly easy to work with, creative and very organized.

Kit Shires was our DJ/MC for our wedding and she was wonderful. She was fun and kept everyone on the dancefloor. But she was also very professional and kept our wedding feeling classy and nice too. She had a lot of helpful suggestions for us when we were planning the schedule for the day and everything went just as planned the day of. We were very happy with QMEP and would definitely recommend them!

First of all let me tell you that Jason and Kit are wonderful. Kit got back to me everytime I emailed her within 24 hours and the one time they didn't and I called them, they already had the information I needed and were going to call me within minutes anyway. Jason helped me through the entire timeline process and gave me ideas on when to do what. He was also very honest and really helped me out by fixing my already contracted time and shifting some things around, so that it would accomodate my ceremony microphones which at first I told him I woudn't need. He saved me a lot of money by doing this, and he's already reasonably priced. Most people would have taken advantage of getting the extra money, but i'm telling you he's so honest. He really saved the day because I was already completely over budget. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. He DJ'd my best friend's wedding before mine and I hope he will DJ many other weddings I attend. he kept the crowd moving and totally kept the party going. GREAT JOB QMEP!!! Thank you Jason!!

Our DJ Kit made the night flow so that we could just enjoy ourselves. She met with us ahead of time and talked to us about how we wanted the evening to flow and then on the night of she made sure we transitioned to dinner, cutting the cake and throwing the bouquet, etc so we didn't have to worry about it. Kit is a true professional and she far exceeded my expectations of a DJ. She also did an amazing job of choosing the music to keep everyone on the dance floor. We even extended the music because so many people were still dancing. We also loved the lighting that they provided. We had an outdoor reception in an olive grove so we had twinkle lights and uplighting in the trees and market lights on the dance floor. Kit and Jason helped us determine what lighting would be best and it was beautiful. The photo booth they provided was a huge hit with our guests. They also provided funny hats, sunglasses and other props so our friends and family had a great time taking pictures. We provided a scrapbook for them to leave a copy of the photos and a message. I think this was our best splurge because the scrapbook is my favorite keepsake from the wedding.

We had a wonderful DJ who worked very hard to understand our choices and vision for the wedding. Kit kept everything moving perfectly and we got rave reviews from all of the guests that it was the funnest wedding they had ever been to. We limited Top 40 (with the exception of the one song chosen by each bridesmaid) which kept it classy but fun.

Kit and Jason at QMEP are positively wonderful! My husband and I had been referred to them by a family member, and I'm thrilled we were, because I wouldn't have wanted another DJ. Jason was our DJ at our wedding, and he was extremely professional. He made sure his two set-ups were ready to go ahead of schedule, he dressed according to our expectations of what guests would wear, he worked wonderfully with our caterer on timing throughout the evening, and maintained an awesome selection of songs by reading the crowd! I suggest going to their office in Martinez if you can, as they have lighting and other options available to make your day perfect.
